Dean Smith & Grace Ltd have been in administration recently, after a long history of manufacturing high quality machine tools.

A New Company: Dean Smith & Grace Lathes (UK) Limited was formed on the 15th October 2008  by Newsmith Stainless Limited from Roberttown, West Yorkshire, WF15 7PH. The new company, which retains many of the existing skilled personnel from Dean Smith and Grace has title to the intellectual property, existing drawings, parts lists, casting moulds etc.

Newsmith Stainless Limited has a long history of engineering excellence and currently employs 150 people on 3 sites in the North of England.

We can supply spare parts manufactured from original drawings and parts lists, provide service visits using experienced personnel, who have extensive knowledge of the equipment, and provide total refurbishment of the machines either at your premises or at our Keighley manufacturing facility.
